Q: Is laser hair removal permanent?

A: No method is absolutely permanent. Laser treatments in retardation of growth so that at the end of a year the hair growth is much less and the hair that does grow is finer and falls out easily.

Q: Is everybody a good candidate for hair removal?

A: The best candidates for the ruby laser are patients with light skin and dark hair. Dark skin patients are not good candidates because the pigment in the skin absorbs too much of the laser light.

Q: How many treatments are required?

A: We usually recommend 3 - 5 treatments in a years time for best results.
